It is important to understand that you can still receive care from us even if we do not accept your insurance. We would be considered out-of-network providers by your insurance plan and treated accordingly. This may mean a different co-pay or deductible from that which you would pay with a participating provider.

Kentucky Medicaid patients' appointments with DermSpecialists should be scheduled by their primary physician's office.

Passport patients should be aware that there are two documents to have with you when you come for your appointment:
1) Your referral from your primary care physician
2) Your current eligibility card

Without these documents, we cannot bill Passport for your visit. We are happy to see you without these documents but you will be responsible for the charges.
